So here’s another TWO of those things where I was really hesitant to try out in the kitchen because I prejudged the flavors of both Jícama & Radish based on how I felt about them raw. Just not my thing.

I pretty much felt the same way about Cauliflower for most of my life, turns out I love it cooked. Samies for Jícama & Radish.

We’ve roasted them on the grill & in the oven. Their flavors cannot be beat; both are very hearty & have a naturally seasoned taste to them. I don’t see myself seeking potatoes ever again. My hash browns have never been the same… & back in my carb days, people loved my potato hash browns.

Reason #11486 to be more adventurous in the kitchen & see what your palette is really made of!

Now I’m going to Meal Plan for some Jícama French Fries! Yessssss.

Instructions
  1. Peel the Jícama. Next shred the Jícama and Radishes using a cheese grater. Then squeeze out all the excess water.
  2. All the oil to heat up in a pan, then add the grated Jícama and Radishes; followed by the Spices & Seasonings.
  3. Occasionally flip the mixture around, allowing it to cook through and get a brown crunchy crust.
